You will get a valuable link pointing back to your blog if approved by the webmaster of the blog. So, do not add a comment like «nice blog» or something like that.It will not be approved. In Wordpress, a blogging platform, you can personally approve every comment that you want. I never approve comments that are not helping in any way, and the spam comments will never get trough either. By blogging daily you will also get valuable tips of improving your blog as well. People will visit your blog too looking for tips that they can use in their marketing and some will want to exchange links with you.

Participate in marketing forums:
Marketing forums are good places to get in contact with other home business owners. So, take an hour each day to visit different marketing forums add your signature file and get links pointing back to your blog. It is important to write a reply that actually helps and people will appreciate you. Often they will want to visit your blog to learn more about what you are doing.

This is something that I do 3 to 4 times a week. Sometimes it is quite tricky to come up with an interesting topic. When you are blogging, you should keep right on the topic. For instance, I´m blogging about home businesses and ways to make money from home. My articles will always be about things related to this, not about food or fishing gear. It is important to be focused on what you do and try to become even better.

When you have written your article you need to make sure that other people will read it as well. Post your article to article directories, social sites and blog carnivals. Web 2.0 is something that you should learn about if you have no idea what it is. This will create links back to your blog over time. I´m personally using Wordpress as the blogging platform. It has many integrated features that helps building the links pointing back at you.

You can market your home business blog to make money in many different ways. The tips above are some that I have found to be working extremely well, and by doing this for a few hours every day I am building links and traffic to this blog.
